Work Lunch was founded
on a simple observation

Corporate women are wildly capable and chronically undersupported.

We're not here to tell you to lean in, lean out, or find your balance. We're here to give you what actually works: strategies from someone in the room, community with people at your level, and content that respects your intelligence.

Our Mission

To equip ambitious corporate women with the insider strategies, community support, and practical tools they need to advance—without sacrificing everything else that matters.

What We Believe

Strategy Beats Hustle

You can't grind your way to the next level. You have to know which moves actually matter.

Every minute matters

Professional development built for women whose calendars are already full.

Access shouldn't be accidental

Everyone deserves to know how corporate really works, not just the people with the right connections.

The right room changes your trajectory

The peers around you shape how fast you climb — and how high.

Why Work Lunch

Hi, I'm jeanelle

I'm sure my story looks a little like yours.

I was in my dream job working in sports, scaling at a company I had long-admired, which had brought me to New York City. I was growing quickly in my career and navigating life as a new mom, trying to balance both ambitions.

Then came 2020.

My former employer, like many, announced a major restructure. At the same time, I discovered I was pregnant with my son. My call with HR took place while on my maternity leave, within days of coming home from the hospital. Both my personal and professional worlds shifted at once, leaving me questioning how I could move forward.

That's when the transformation began.

I threw myself into learning, testing different practices, practicing mindset, taking on manifestation challenges, and consuming every business book I could get my hands on. I invested in masterminds, workshops, and executive coaches, distilling what truly worked. And as I advanced in my career, I layered those lessons with my own corporate experience, building frameworks I wish I had earlier.

The result?

I created a learning program designed for today’s ambitious professional - one that cuts through the noise and delivers practical tools you can apply right away. The good news? What took me years of trial, error, and investment, I now share at Work Lunch.
